ISSUE #25 TARG Zine - TARG Year Two Anniversary Now Available

INSIDE THE APRIL ISSUE:
During TARG YEAR TWO we hosted 394 bands & had 67 different Pinball & Arcade machines on site - they are all listed in this month’s TARG Zine (breakout the bifocals). Millennial record reviewer and Toxic Thoughts front man Felix lets us know what he thinks about Reverend Horton Heat’s 1990 release “Smoke ‘em If You Got ‘Em”. Ska Jeff ain’t the most sporty guy around but he counts down his top five sports themed Pinball machines, You can always count on Slo’ Tom for some quick advice about toilets, pop bands, butter & precious metals markets - this month is no different, Face Swap is all the rage so we decided to hop on the bandwagon & swap some TARG wizard faces around - the results are bone chilling. Oh did you know Ice Cold Beer is back? Also included are 4 side splitting panels of the Toys R Josh spread, The mega talented Marisa Gallemit lets us into the mysterious world of creating a Meaningful Sculptural Work of Art in our Step by Step feature & it’s hilarious, Meet TARG’s newest wizard Daisy. MARCH TARG ZINE: Celebrating 100 Nites of Toughen UP! Free-Play Sunday

DJ KJMaxx pays tribute to 100 evenings of free play pins/vids and spinning all vinyl jamz with an amazing ZINE cover.

The Beau’s All Natural column has some factoids about pinball and a hollywood super star who grew up in Ottawa - read it then impress your peers with worldly knowledge, JOSH’s toys are in some seasonal predicaments that will make you chuckle, DJ KJMaxx gives us his definitive guide to the greatest video game themed rock jamz in preparation for the 100th edition of TOUGHEN UP! FREE-PLAY Sunday on March 20. Boing, Bumm, Tschak - read up on how the TR-808 drum machine changed the world. Have you been plagued by illness all winter? Most of our Classic Arcade Machines & a few Pinball machines are still at 1980's prices (a quarter). Most of our newer state of the art pinball machines are a loonie to play. We also have footstools for smaller wizards so they can reach the flippers.
