EXPANDA FUZZ (Ottawa Post-punk, psych POP!)
Expanda Fuzz was conceived attempting to rip apart a Pink Floyd song with a distorted bass and a fuzz-driven guitar through a ripped speaker cabinet...while playing to a Roland 404 sampler.

The result of that experiment can be heard on the duo’s new record ‘Bleuets’, where they showcase their brand of catchy, droney, post-punk songs that hook heavily into a psych-garage sound.

Think Kim Deal fronting the Velvet Underground, or Mary Timony jamming with Suicide. And while that initial Pink Floyd cover has yet to surface, many more Expanda Fuzz releases are coming to a fuzz box near you.

BOOM CREEK (Ottawa Psyche/Psychobilly/Rock/)
After a few years off, Boom Creek are back at it, and better than ever! - Formed in 2003 as an antidote to drunken summer afternoon ennui, Boom Creek are still blasting the Ottawa underground music community with their homegrown rock 'n roll. With an ability to consistently deliver unforgettably intense and energetic performances in a variety of venues, from bars and cozy taverns to large outdoor festivals, it is their incendiary live show that has earned Boom Creek a reputation amongst hometown rock ‘n’ roll fans and fellow music-makers as a “must-see” live act. Boom Creek are very anxious for the opportunity to bring their own brand of “blood, thud, twang and thunder” rock ‘n’ roll to your local dive… Ian Vance plays the guitar. Adam Fraser plays the drums. Todd Jodoin plays the bass. Neill Petersen sings the songs.

PLUS - music by DJ Shanker between sets
