Surf and Turf, Ottawa's surf, instro and garage rock festival, returns to House of TARG for its seventh edition. Put on your dancing shoes and lets get twangy.

THE REVERB SYNDICATE (Local surf/spy/new wave/go-go heroes)
Reverb-drenched surf/spy-fi sounds to accompany 60's spy films that don't exist. The Reverb Syndicate was formed in late-2005 in Ottawa, Canada with the simple concept of exploring and re-imagining the music of groups from The Ventures to Shadowy Men On A Shadowy Planet via the soundtracks of old spy movies. This concept has led them to four independently-released albums, heavy gigging throughout Ontario and Quebec, recurring gigs in New York City, and two UK tours.

THE TSUNAMIBOTS (Psychotic surfing sentient robots from Vermont)
The Tsunamibots are programmed to ride a perfect wave of human decimation and human-cyborg conversion, straight to the beach of Robotic Revolution. Each Tsunamibot has been programmed with a music genre pack that consists of a meld of Man or Astro-Man, Servotron,Misfits, and DEVO creating a fresh and human crushing sound. OK then!
