The Retrospects are a vibrant retro synthpop band that channels the quintessential sounds of the 1980's. Comprised of five members who share a passion for vintage synths and drum machines. The Retrospects play music that is both fun and nostalgic. The songs are built on sharp hooks, simple lyrics, and the overall positive vibe of late nights at the club watching bands. Each song serves as a time capsule, transporting listeners back to a decade known for its bold style and musical experimentation. HUG MOSH (Ott Glitch Core)
Bio: HUG MOSH is the musical project of producer, vocalist, DJ, and multimedia artist Fabien Pleur. Blending bubblegum synths and frenetic drum patterns, with dense, meme-filled, and introspective lyrics, HUG MOSH presents an honest, all cards on the table take on modern pop music. As a DJ, HUG MOSH takes classic elements of underground culture and subversive internet music genres, and juxtaposes them with bleeding edge queer dance music. HUG MOSH has performed across Ontario and Quebec and boasts headlining performances at Side by Side Weekend and Debaser’s Pique among dozens of shows in the project’s short lifespan.
