Presented by: Sitting On The Outside & House of TARG
Doors: 8pm / Show at 8:30pm

THE NILS (Montreal power-pop-punk)
Montreal’s lost rock band is back.
After their critically acclaimed 1987 self titled album, their increasing fanbase included musicians in the genre naming them as a direct influence: Goo Goo Dolls, Superchunk, Jawbox, Meat Puppets, Down By Law, Bob Mould (Sugar, Hüsker Dü).

"The band, led by brothers Carlos (bass/vocals) and primary songwriter Alex Soria (vocals/guitar), went on hiatus. Drug abuse rumours swirled. Alex started new projects, including a reformed Nils with original guitarist Mark Donato before committing suicide in 2004… Fast forward to 2015 - Carlos and Donato picked up the pieces and finally delivered the second album fans waited & waited for."  - CARLA GILLIS Now Magazine.

A no-brainer evening for fans of power-pop as done by spirited musicians who helped pioneer the genre.

STEVE ADAMYK BAND (Ottawa power punk fuzz)
Hometown sleeveless darlings.

DEAD WEIGHTS (Ottawa Pop Punk/Indie)
Driving rhythms, melodic raspy vocals & catchy sing-a-long choruses. For fans of vegan poutine.

G.A.S. DRUMMERS (Spain Punk Rock)
G.A.S. DRUMMERS is a punk rock band from south Spain. They started in 1998 and have toured ever since throughout Europe and once in north America. the band is one of the few survivors from the 90’s in Europe that never called it quits. Their sound gets influences from hardcore punk, 80’s American underground rock and power-pop, and their lyrics are inspired by Marxist and anarchist thinkers.
