TALL SHADOWS (MTL Ambient/Drone/Electronic)
Electronic, ambient, and neo-classical. TALL SHADOWS is a slow drift through nightmarescapes of great beasts in murky twilight. An electronic armature with lush acoustic strings braided through synth organs & sparse vocals. The album “In the End” is a meditation on isolation, timeless emptiness, latent mysticism, and the desire to disappear.
HORSEMAN, PASS BY. (Havelock/Ottawa Experimental Free Jazz)
Horseman, Pass By. is a Havelock/Ottawa-based duo of Bennett Bedoukian (Drums and Electronics) and Mark Molnar (Cello and Electronics). They have been playing together for 3 years, have ground gears out on 2 cars, wasted countless hours wandering half liminal and wrung out through truck stops on masticated highways across eastern Canada.
DAY OF NIAGARA (Ottawa Improvised Guitar Experiments)
Day of Niagara is the latest project of Ottawa's David Jackson. He is a sound artist and educator working primarily withexperimental and improvised analog and digitally processed guitar and field recordings. David also happens to be a Programming Director at Improvising Musicians of Ottawa/Outaouais.
