DOUCE ANGOISSE (Paris/MTL minimal/darkwave)
Perhaps the most exciting performance at S.O.S.fest 2017. Live drumming, insane vocal performance & infectious backing tracks. Douce covers a lot of ground: geographically, musically. She move from France to Montreal & spent time couple of years in the London electro scene in between. Her infectious brand of minimal electro is always dark with elements of disco & pop blended with full on punk circuit bending madness to create an unholy & transgressive matrimony. Expect a strange and frantic stage show. This performance will without a doubt inspire.

HONEY BEARD (Toronto Synth Pop)
Honey Beard is an Canadian Electronic Dark-Pop duo from Toronto, Ontario. The band have been creating music for some time now drawing on childhood inspirations such as Depeche Mode and The Doors. Honey Beard are renowned for their frenetic live performances injecting their own edgy take on the typical pop arrangements while balancing dark synth sounds with bright catchy beats.

OTTAWA based Paul Anthony goes by many names ... KI, Wilhaeven, Canada High, Equal Ways ... the list goes on. Far from disguises, they are a necessity for such a prolific producer. Paul got his start remixing electronic legends Mark Archer / Altern8, Si Begg, Unique 3, and Rhythmatic via UK based record label Mutate Records between 2010 and 2012. As well as playing sets in Ottawa, Toronto and Montreal, many of Paul's tracks have been featured in independent films, documentaries, television shows, modern dance scores, and gallery installations. Currently working with UK publisher Funklabs, Paul has several releases out now under his Canada High (House), Night On Wish Mountain (Dub Electronics) and Wilhaeven (Slack Beats), KI (Techno) and Equal Ways (Ambient) monikers on UK labels such as Rising High Records, Cosmetiq, Soundtracs Recordings, Ricochet Records, Fractured Funk, and Originator Sound.
