PARAPHONIQUE  (hypnotic synth / kosmische)
Paraphonique is the alter ego of Gatineau-based musician Nicolas Lavoie. An instigator of prospective electronic music inspired by cult ambient or “kosmische” records, he is known for his experiments with modular synthesizers, analog technology, and sample processing. Having performed at the MUTEK Montréal, Le Festif! and Pop Montréal festivals, his live improvisations will reach those who desires to lose themselves in the abyss of a profound dream.

Melina Spiga, Hazy Montagne Mystique, and Guillaume Vallée have come together to create an immersive work where music, voice, and experimental images interact intimately. Melina Spiga's sensitive and hybrid songs meet Hazy Montagne Mystique's dreamlike soundscapes and Guillaume Vallée's analog manipulations. Together, they create a vibrant experience, on the border between dream and matter, where acoustic and visual textures interact, opening up suspended spaces, vibrant with emotion and poetry.

Sam Aleums is a performer of live electronic music. Wielding the synthesizer, the sampler and the drum machine to weave texture, rhythm and melody into a danceable tapestry, his performances range from electrifying breaks and groovy electro to contemplative downtempo and beyond.
