WARES (Edmonton Indie/PowerPop) 
Wares is the name for the noisy, driving, power pop sounds made by Edmonton songwriter Cassia Hardy. Hot on the heels of an eponymous full length debut, 2018 sees Cassia joined by a three piece backing band for a cross Canada tour this summer. Expect new sights, new songs, ringing ears and a full heart.
 

SPARKLESAURUS (Ott living room dreampop)
Felicity, Shamisa, Colleen, and Brad make up Sparklesaurus. They play music for lying on the floor to, for holding hands to, shaking your buns, squeezing each other and jumping around to. It’s living room dreampop mixed on high, baked in the oven at 375, and then sprinkled with a cup of dirt and confetti. Place on wire rack and let cool for 15-30 mins. Press play and float away.
