OUT THERE SOUNDS 
is a new Jazz Fusion music series curated by Canadian jazz-rock fusion guitarist educator, improviser, composer Wayne Eagles. This music series seeks to showcase mind-blowing musicianship that pushes the boundaries of rock, blues & funk through the power of jazz harmony, improvisation & inspiration from OUT THERE!

Since 2000 AD, Rakestar has explored the Afro-Futurist universe of the great jazz innovator and space traveller, Sun Ra, interpreting hisstellar compositions like "Saturn" and cosmic anthems like "We Travel The Spaceways". TUNES HERE


PB&FUNK (Ottawa Fusion Trio) 
(2nd set, 10-11PM)
If you smack peanut butter and funk in between two pieces of bread, you get yourself a nasty sandwich. PB&FUNK is the newest funk/fusion trio to hit the Ottawa scene with music that you can eat up anytime of the day. Playing an array of originals and fusion standards, you’re bound to have a funk in’ good time.

A musician for over four decades and a professional guitar instructor for three, Wayne Eagles has performed or recorded with: Adam Nussbaum, Billy Kilson, Ian Froman, 3 Jimmys, Mike Milligan, The Platters, Peter Brown, Ken Rosser, OutSpan, Soul Finger, Random Access Orkestra, Funkdawgs, Super Awesome Club, T Bruce Wittet and The Bitches Brew Tribute Band.
