DÉVAH QUARTET (Performing Rush's 2112) + Old James + Nessie

Presented by: House of TARG and Beaus
Doors: 9pm / 19+
Cover: $10

(Toronto Rock, Electric String Quartet + Drums)
Dévah is comprised of Emily on electric violin, Sharon and Moira on electric 5-string violin/viola hybrids, and Liza on electric cello. Dévah works and records with drummers Mackenzie Longpré and Mike Vanderhule of Y&T.

Dévah invents a rich texture of sound utilizing effect pedals traditionally used by electric bass, piano and guitar, thus creating different tones and dimensions to their music. Void of any stereotypical mold, Dévah is continuously evolving and recreating itself…. this time around they will be performing “2112” the fourth studio album by Canadian rock band RUSH. We can’t think of anyone better to sink their teeth into this prog rock masterpiece.

OLD JAMES (Ottawa Rawk)
In the vein of 70's Rock 'N Roll when originality was king and finding a unique sound was the mission.

Known for their memorable vocals, distorted tones, pure and honest lyrical themes and a kick ass live show full of power and passion OLD JAMES is ready to make the world its own.

NESSIE (Ottawa Progressive Hard Rock)
Nessie is a five piece progressive hard rock band. High-energy stage presence with many dynamic changes and high quality execution of their songs technicality. All graduates from Algonquin College, where the members met through the Music Industry Arts Program.
