PEELING (T.O. Psych Punk / Noise Pop, Buzz Records)

A Toronto SuperGroup that was born out of a project known as MEXICAN SLANG - Noisy electronic punk with driving fuzzy bass. Peeling, led by Kiev-born songwriter Annabelle Lee and features Jimmy Tony Rowlinson (Dilly Dally) on bass, Denholm Whale (Odonis Odonis) on drums, and Alejandro Cairncross on guitar. Buzz Records.

SLOW DAWN (Ott Weirdo/psykicdelic Bruised Tongue Recs)
Experimental garage noise from Dan Druff (ex Holy Cobras). Hypnotic My Bloody Valentinesque swirl with some dirt & expansive vocals thrown on top. Grab hold & take the trip!

THE BAND WHOSE NAME IS A SYMBOL (Ott Psychedelic) 7:30pm - 8:30pm
Ottawa's most prolific Krautrockers make a rare visit to TARG for what is surely to be a memorable journey into furthest reaches of sonic experimentalism. TBWNIS sounds like Hawkwind meets Acid Mothers Temple with Krautrock, progressive and middle-eastern tones.

DJ B-RAD
will keep this trippy evening moving along by inviting you down the swirling psychedelic & noisy rabbit hole that is his rare & esoteric vinyl collection.

ABOUT THE JAN LIS FIRE FUND
Jan Lis a hardworking organic farmer, musician & member of The Band Whose Name Is A Symbol. He recently lost his house to a fire which consumed everything he had. Jan lost his prized fiddle worth over $3000. He lost all his music gear, pictures, all clothing, ID, seeds for planting, bicycle etc etc.
He has no insurance and presently has nowhere to live although the local Mormons have offered him a trailer.
He considers himself fortunate that his animals were not hurt and that it is now warmer weather but he will need to rebuild his life.
Proceeds from this show will go towards the fund & there will be a donation jar onsite for anyone who wants to lend further support. If you can't make the show and want to help out please visit THE EMERGENCY GO FUND ME SITE that was set up by caring friends.
