Presented by: Ottawa Synths, House of TARG, Beau's All Natural
Doors: 9pm / Show at 10pm
Cover: $8 / 19+
SWITCHED ON SYNTHS is back with an evening of highly experiment & cinematic synth worship featuring performers associated with the Montreal laboratory/record label Jeunesse Cosmique.
HAZY MONTAGNE MYSTIQUE and ME FLOAT (MTL Experimental Krautrock)
A cool & unique take on Krautock featuring Jeunesse Cosmique label founders Hazy Montagne Mystique and Me Float. A fully improvised analog ritual with processed vocals, sound fragments clashes and shimmering vintage synth sounds.
FLONE.av (MTL Experimental Cinematic Modular Synths)
A very advanced display of synth wizardry from this MTL-based duo. Equally talented at casting potent visions of doom or serenity. Completely improvised and using some of the latest modular synth technologies.
BIG RIVER DREAM (Toronto Ambient Synth)
Take off on an ambient trip with this artist formerly based in Ottawa and Kingston. Some intricate compositions made of polished and finely layered analog sounds.
