CELEBRATE 40 YEARS OF CKCU COMMUNITY RADIO WITH TWO OF THE MOST UNIQUE AND CREATIVE BANDS OUT THERE.
UKRAINIA
Ukrainia aren’t your grandmother’s wedding dance band. Their music holds the old country passions, but their sound is clearly 21st century. Songs fuelled by the sweet breath of vodka are intense to the edge of mania. Their music will light your spirit, lift your body and transport you to another time in a surreal place – have your passports stamped, you are entering Ukrainia.

BAD UNCLE (MTL polkabilly/gypsy punk)
A Truly sensational musical experience and journey to the center of absurdity. These talented players tangle the carnivalesque, polka & punk into a jaw dropping spectacle. Arguably the only band in the world that can start a mosh pit with an accordion. A Must see band, seriously.
