Hannah Vig has made a name for herself as Ottawa’s sensitive, sapphic songstress. Known for her intimate and emotive acoustic performances, Vig has been bringing a new and exciting sound to her live music: a band. Backed by powerhouse drummer Nae Roy-Ling, bassist Matt Scharfe, & lead guitarist Eric Montpool, Vig’s already dynamic music now has a compelling new energy. Bringing her rock influences to the fore, Vig’s soulful voice soars on songs evoking the likes of Boygenius & Olivia Rodrigo, and her hard-hitting lyrics become all the more impactful with her new group.
